Troubleshoot Virtual Sessions
Attending a virtual tutoring or mentoring session?
- Before your session, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Zoom
- You will need to be logged into your ncsu.edu Zoom account for appointments with the ASC
- If the Zoom session still won’t let you join or if your tutor/mentor is more than 3 minutes late, call the ASC at 919-515-3163
- If trouble with Zoom persists, ask the ASC if you can switch to another platform just for that session
- Find a quiet location for your sessions
- Have your camera and mic on
- Feel free to use a virtual background or blur your background. We just need to be able to see you.
- Make sure you are ready to screen share your course materials and work
